Wednesday 6 December (Members' Christmas Function)

The North West Film Society invites its members to our annual Christmas Function downstairs at CMAX from 6 pm until just before the film screening. Get into the Christmas spirit & enjoy our wine, cheese and cocktail food!

At the same time, members vote on all the films we’ve shown in 2017, take part in a movie-related Quick-Quiz and see how lucky they can be in our Lucky Dip Door prize.

Members and guests are then invited to attend the final film of the year at 7pm;

Panic-stricken, Anne insists her loyal maid Maria disguise herself as a mysterious Spanish noble woman to even out the numbers. But a little too much wine and some playful chat lead Maria to accidentally endear herself to a dandy British art broker. Their budding romance will have Anne chasing her maid around Paris and finally plotting to destroy this most unexpected and joyous love affair.
